1st edition of SWitCH with high success rate

90% of the participating students will take internships in the associated companies

The first phase of the SWitCH program has come to an end. Now, for its second phase, 26 students will join the internship program at one of the associated companies of the Porto Tech Hub association. Then, during 12 months, the participants will consolidate what they learned in the first year of the program through the participation in practical projects and constant monitoring by their new teams and mentors.

“The feedback we are gathering from the teaching staff and the employees of the companies that have been following the students and their projects throughout the first year is very positive and this is reflected in the positive statistics of this first edition,” says Luís Neves, president of Porto Tech Hub.

Based on the success data of the first edition, Porto Tech Hub invests in a new phase of applications for the 2018/2019 school year, where, once again, there is a high number of people interested in the program. The main objective for the new edition is to fill 60 vacancies, one more class then the first year.
