Cloud and Cybersecurity at the center of the debate at the Porto Tech Hub Conference 2023
The city of Porto is about to host another edition of the Porto Tech Hub Conference, an event that brings together the region’s technological ecosystem. Scheduled for October 27, 2023, the venue chosen for the event is Alfândega do Porto, a larger space than the previous edition. The conference promises to be a milestone in the technology industry, and some of the relevant themes for the technology sector are already known and will be addressed throughout the event by renowned speakers. Among the topics highlighted are the various fundamental programming languages, Cloud and Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Modern Web and Artificial Intelligence.
The conference is organized by Porto Tech Hub, an association whose mission is to promote and develop the city of Porto as a global technology hub and it is an event supported by the Open Call for Innovation and Digital Transition of the Porto City Council. It aims to bring together dozens of companies and more than a thousand professionals from the sector, providing a day full of knowledge sharing on the main trends and technological innovations of the present and the future.
New speakers have already been confirmed for the day-long event, including Patrycja Wegrzynowicz, founder of Yon Labs and recently named one of the Top 10 Women in Tech in Poland, Josh Long, Spring Developer Advocate at Pivotal, Stephen Chin, VP of Developer Relations at JFrog, Mete Atamel, Software Engineer and Developer Advocate at Google and Nicolai Parlog, Java Developer Advocate at Oracle, among others.

The Porto Tech Hub Conference, which began in 2015, has already been attended by around 5,000 people and more than 80 speakers over the course of its previous editions. The event has hosted world-renowned companies such as Google, Amazon, eBay, Facebook, Spotify, Microsoft, RedHat and Netflix, solidifying its reputation as an essential meeting point for professionals and companies in the technology sector.
