Porto Tech Hub closes 2025 with sustained growth and a strengthened community
The year 2025 was marked by the consolidation of Porto Tech Hub as a business association in the technology sector, during a period in which it strengthened its membership base, expanded institutional partnerships, and celebrated ten years of activity in Porto’s technology ecosystem.
Porto Tech Hub ended 2025 with clear signs of organic growth, in a year that coincided with the celebration of its 10th anniversary. Throughout the year, the association strengthened its representation in the technology and business sector, invested in links with education and talent, and intensified its efforts to boost its community.
During 2025, Porto Tech Hub welcomed 10 new member companies from different areas of the technology and business services sector. Among the organizations that joined the association are Bright Group, Dachser, Uphold, Ujet.cx, Mindera, Xhockware, PixelMatters, AkaPeople, FI Group, and VdA, broadening the spectrum of skills and profiles represented in the community.
At the same time, six new institutional partnerships were established with higher education, recruitment, and consulting entities, namely Católica Business School, IPAM, Fernando Pessoa University, Landing Jobs, Grupo Clave, and Seal Group. These partnerships aimed to strengthen the link between technological talent and the job market, at a time when attracting and retaining qualified professionals remains one of the main challenges facing the sector.
The focus on community cohesion remained one of the central pillars of the association’s activity. Throughout the year, 10 meetups were held, symbolically aligned with Porto Tech Hub’s 10 years of existence, bringing together more than 500 participants and serving as spaces for sharing experiences, knowledge, and networking between professionals and companies.
In addition to more technical and professional meetings, the association also promoted informal and sporting initiatives, such as padel, running, surfing, and climbing, which involved more than 250 people. These actions aimed to strengthen the bond between members and foster a culture of community beyond the strictly business context.
The year was also marked by a strong focus on communication and institutional memory. The podcast commemorating Porto Tech Hub’s 10th anniversary featured 10 episodes and more than 20 guests, exceeding 1,500 impressions on Spotify and accumulating more than 400 hours of listening time. The format allowed us to reach listeners on four continents, expanding the international visibility of the association and Porto’s technological ecosystem.
