Calling All UX Professionals to take the “The State of UX in Portugal” Survey by UXPA Portugal
Creating better conditions for User Experience (UX) professionals in Portugal is the main goal of UXPA – User Experience Professional Association Portugal. Officially launched this November, the Association has introduced “The State of UX in Portugal” survey as its first public initiative to assess the current landscape of UX careers in the country.
UXPA Portugal is one of over 50 chapters active within the UXPA International network. The association aims to support individuals who research, design, and evaluate user experiences in products or services, and companies by upholding the value of UX in their practices. The Association initiatives are built around four key pillars: “Professional development”, “Community development”, “Education” and “Advocacy in Industry”.
The first step in fulfilling this mission is understanding the current state of UX careers in Portugal. “The State of UX in Portugal” survey invites Portuguese professionals and expats working in UX within the country to share their experiences by answering a series of questions.
The answers to the survey are anonymous, and seek to provide concrete data to help UXPA Portugal focus its efforts on initiatives with the greatest potential for a positive impact on the careers of UX professionals.
For those unfamiliar with the field, User Experience is dedicated to creating intuitive, pleasant, and efficient products and services. It combines research, design, and strategy to ensure that users’ needs are met. The process involves multiple stages, from human behavior research and information organization to visual and interaction design, culminating in a comprehensive and engaging experience.
