Geek Girls Portugal celebrate 11th birthday with new meetup

As part of the celebrations of the 11 years of Geek Girls Portugal (G2PT) and the Girls in ICT Day 2021, the tech community is organizing its 92nd meetup (online) on April 21st.

The theme of the meetup is “The evolution of the role of women in technologies in Portugal and the impact of Geek Girls Portugal in the path of these women”. The event will count on a discussion panel integrated by Vânia Gonçalves (Geek Girls PT); Teresa Carreiro (Critical Manufacturing); Inês Santos Silva (Portuguese Women in Tech); Ana Sampaio (YOOX NET-A-PORTER GROUP) and Patrícia Rosa (EY FSO Technology Consulting), moderated by Mariana Barbosa (Eco).

The online meetup will be one full hour (6:30-7:30pm) of exchange of knowledge on the topic of the impact of community work on people and on the technological ecosystem, and in a broader perspective, on how the market and the conditions for women in technology have evolved over the past 11 years.
