BIT – Business Information Technology – is responsible for supporting the information systems of all MC’s activities and insignias. The goal is always to ensure the highest availability of these systems for normal business activity, through the development of new solutions that facilitate the business side and also the user or end customer experience.

BIT offers solutions for such different markets as clinics, parapharmacies, diatetic monitoring, hypermarket applications, and fashion area, that it’s easy to understand that we propose to be always at the front line, in search of competitive solutions as this market demands.

Welcome to the new office of BIT!

Based at Sonae Campus, at Maia, BIT have more than 600 people, with a growing focus on remote work.

Sonae Campus is the most sustainable and eco-efficient building built from scratch in Portugal and one of the top 100 worldwide, being a space for innovation. This building stands out for having been developed and built with the highest standards of environmental efficiency and for providing unique living conditions, in addition to fostering collaboration, creativity, and employee well-being.

Besides being a modern building with a cozy decoration, one of the most advantages of BIT are the good atmosphere that can be perceived among the team.

Sonae is part of the Porto Tech Hub community since May 2017, through BIT. Over the years we can count on BIT’s participation in our SWitCH program, in our editions of the Porto Tech Hub conference and above all to exchange experiences among our other associates.
